The Wisconsin Badgers are just one day away from the start of Fall camp, as they’re getting ready to gear up for the season opener on September 6th against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish at Lambeau Field.
Wisconsin will have a set of 15 practices across August before their Week 1 preparation, and they’re even making one of them open to the public for fans to watch for free.
“With fall camp practices beginning this week, Wisconsin Football has announced a public practice presented by Culver’s set for
7 p.m. on Tuesday, August 18 at Camp Randall Stadium. The public practice under the lights will provide fans with a preview of the 2026 season,” UW Athletics shared.
“With a glimpse at practice, fans will get a chance to see Wisconsin prep for the season opener against Notre Dame at Lambeau Field (Sept. 6). The Badgers’ 2026 roster features talented returners from a 2025 squad that scored a pair of wins over ranked opponents at Camp Randall last November.”
“The Wisconsin roster has also been bolstered by a crop of incoming transfers, including dynamic quarterback Colton Joseph (Old Dominion) who was named the Sun Belt Offensive Player of the Year last fall. New faces across all of the Badgers’ units will mesh this August in preparation for Head Coach Luke Fickell’s fourth season at the helm of the program.”
Wisconsin has generally had an open practice in the spring for fans to come and watch, but they’re now also making one fall practice available for the public.
Fans will be able to enter through the Camp Randall gates on Breese Terrace, with seating available on the west side of the stadium.
