Age is often viewed as a concern in football, but Bayern Munich has several veterans proving that experience and elite performance can still carry significant value.
According to Transfermarkt (as captured by @iMiaSanMia), Harry Kane is currently the most valuable player in the world aged over 30, with the Bayern Munich striker carrying a market value of €60 million at 33-years-old. That puts him comfortably ahead of Manchester City midfielder Rodri, who is valued at €55 million.
Bayern Munich also
has two more players in the top 10.
Joshua Kimmich ranks third overall with a €35 million valuation at 31 years old. His ability to operate at an elite level in multiple midfield roles remains one of his biggest strengths, and his importance to both Bayern Munich and Germany continues to be reflected in his market value.
Jonathan Tah is eighth on the list at €28 million. The 30-year-old defender has quickly established himself as an important part of Bayern Munich’s defensive structure and gives Vincent Kompany another experienced option at the heart of the defense.
Three Bayern Munich players appearing among the 10 most valuable over-30 players in world football is a strong indication that experience is not necessarily a weakness.
Kane, Kimmich, and Tah remain highly valuable assets, even as they enter the later stages of their careers.
