In news that should surprise absolutely no one, Bijan Robinson has earned NFC Offensive Player of the Week honors for absolutely going off against the Green Bay Packers on Thursday Night Football in Week 3.
It’s Robinson’s third time earning this honor since the 2025 season. Robinson was the NFC Offensive Player of the Week in Week 6 vs. Buffalo (19 carries, 170 rushing yards, and a rushing touchdown, plus six catches for 68 yards) and Week 16 vs. the Rams last season (22 carries for 195 yards and a touchdown, plus five
catches for 34 yards and a touchdown).
Robinson had himself a day against the Packers, with 29 carries for 194 yards — 6.7 yards per carry — and two touchdowns. His 19 receiving yards put his total from scrimmage at 213 yards on the day. And he wasn’t the only player who went off. Drake London also put up 194 receiving yards on Thursday night in Lambeau.
Bijan’s widely considered to be one of the best running backs in the league — and I don’t think it’s a stretch to think he’s THE best right now.
You might have noticed that Kirk Herbstreit had a lot to say about Bijan’s performance on Thursday night — but he also hyped up Robinson’s kindness, which is valid. I’ve covered a lot of players over the years, and Robinson isn’t just a god-tier athlete. He’s a good man with strong values and an incredible work ethic, and he leads by example.
Congratulations to Bijan for the well deserved honor — and congratulations to Atlanta sports fans. Being a Falcons fan is generally not for the faint of heart, but we are so fortunate to have this generational talent in Atlanta.
