Steelers rookie minicamp is here, running May 8-10 as Pittsburgh gets a first look at its 2026 draft class in the black and gold.
As always, the minicamp roster is filled out with a mix of non-rookie Steelers as well some veteran and rookie tryouts. The weekend camp is a good way for unsigned and bottom-of-the-roster players to get some extra time to make a good impression with the coaching staff.

Stonehouse might be the most recognizable
name of the bunch — the 26-year-old led the NFL in yards per punt in both 2022 and 2023.
Some other notable tidbits with the tryouts include a clear focus at linebacker (four players) and punter (three). There are four former Pitt players (Battle, Williams, Zelinsky, and George). Tecza rushed for 902 yards and 10 touchdowns alongside Steelers draftee Eli Heidenreich in Navy’s offense in 2025.
