Josias Musasa provided fight fans with a unique moment earlier tonight (Sat., Sept. 27, 2025) at UFC Perth LIVE on ESPN+ from inside RAC Arena in Perth, Australia, requesting to take a pee during his fight with Colby
Thicknesse after suffering a kick to the groin.
Despite losing his UFC debut back in March, Musasa came into Saturday night a betting favorite to leave with a win. Due mostly to his knockout ability many believed Musasa would be able to hurt Thicknesse and potentially put him out early. While Musasa found a home for some clean shots he never landed the perfect one that could have won him the fight.
With about one minute off the clock in the third round, Thicknesse landed in inadvertent kick to Musasa’s groin. Musasa crumbled to the ground in pain and looked to be in rough shape. The referee went over to check on Musasa and the injured fighter asked him if he could take a pee. It’s not something you typically hear while watching a UFC fight. Of course, the request was denied.
“You can’t pee right now,” responded the referee. “After the fight.”
Musasa took four minutes before continuing the fight and went on to lose a decision. Nonetheless, it was a hard-fought defeat for “The K.O. Wizard,” especially since he didn’t get the chance to pee.
