According to a report from Bild (as captured by @iMiaSanMia), the German national team could see significant changes to its lineup when facing Northern Ireland on Sunday.
Per the report, Oliver Baumann, Antonio Rüdiger, Jonathan Tah, Joshua Kimmich, Florian Wirtz and Nick Woltemade are expected to stay in the starting XI, but the other positions are up for grabs:
Many changes are expected on the lineup that will face Northern Ireland tomorrow. Only Baumann, Rüdiger, Tah, Kimmich, Wirtz and Woltemade
are expected to keep their spots, among other reasons due to the lack of alternatives. The likes of Anton/Koch, Andrich/Groß, Amiri, Nebel, Leweling could feature from the start.
That is all well and good, but some of the holdovers (looking at the center-back combo) have not performed all that well either. Right now, Germany seems to be grasping at straws.
In addition, Bayern Munich attacker Serge Gnabry picked up an arm injury vs. Slovakia, but should be good to go against Northern Ireland per Deutschen Presse-Agentur (as captured by @iMiaSanMia):
Serge Gnabry sustained an arm injury against Slovakia and played the second half with an arm brace. Nevertheless, he will be available against Northern Ireland tomorrow.
