Jarek’s Pre-Tipoff Thoughts:
I have to tell you; I’m still a little bit in shock that Nebraska is still undefeated. I did predict that Nebraska would beat Michigan State, but I wasn’t overly confident it would actually happen. This is another one of those “I’m not sure if we win this” kind of games. I have to admit though, it’s been a damn fun season so far. Nebraska could very well have its highest ever ranking soon, but that still requires them to come out of this game unscathed.
The versatility of the Huskers are proving why they are so good. They can win defensive slugfests like they did Friday night, while also capable of getting into shootouts like they did against Oklahoma. I have a feeling this will be closer to a shootout than another defensive battle. Stop Bruce Thornton, you stop the Buckeyes. WAY easier said than done, but I think Nebraska does. Score prediction: Nebraska 80 Ohio State 74
