back to BTSC’s Friday night open thread:
- We’ve reached mid-October, and there are just a few weeks of Halloween season left before we shift into the holiday season at the end of the year. I’m a big fan of the horror movie genre, and I always watch a little extra in the lead-up to Halloween (I highly recommend the Resident Evil movie in theaters right now). Let’s have some fun with that in mind. First, which current Steeler would be the most likely to be the last one standing at the end of a horror movie, and why?
- On the flip side, which Steeler would make the best horror movie villain/monster? What would their calling card or special scary power be?
- Speaking of horror, what’s a moment from Steelers history that still haunts you today? Bonus points if it is something other than the Jesse James ruling.
- Fall season isn’t just about horror, though. For example, this weekend my girlfriend and I are going to head out to one of the many farms/orchards/pumpkin patches within driving distance that host fall activities on their property. Have you and a loved one done something similar? What’s a popular destination like that in your area that you enjoy? Or do you like to go to a “haunted house” experience this time of year?
