The Florida State Seminoles added a blue-chip running back to #Tribe27 today, as Jayden Miles announced his verbal commitment to FSU.
Miles is a 6’2, 205 pound bruiser who plays for Baton Rouge Catholic in Louisiana.
Despite holding an offer from the Tigers, LSU doesn’t seem to be in the picture any longer for Miles, though they can never be counted out for local prospects if they swing back around late after missing on bigger targets. Ohio State and Arkansas were the other two finalists for Miles, with additional offers from Oregon, Miami, Texas A&M, Oklahoma, Auburn, Ole Miss, Kentucky, Houston, and Baylor.
Miles is considered the 388th best player in the nation (30th best running back, 15th best player in LA). He officially visited Tallahassee over the initial OV weekend, and Kam Martin flexed his recruiting muscle and worked some magic to prioritize Miles. He runs track in addition to playing football and is a tough runner with the frame to add on another 10-15 pounds of muscle without losing burst. He can be the workhorse between the tackles but also has enough speed to break away.
