It’s officially game week as the Missouri Tigers open the regular season on Thursday night against FCS opponent Central Arkansas with a 6:30 p.m. CST kickoff on the SEC Network.
As you all know by now – both Beau Pribula and Sam Horn will play to extend the quarterback competition
and head coach Eli Drinkwitz plans to announce a starter for Week 2 vs kansas.
In a game where Mizzou should win rather easily – the biggest focus is how will Pribula and Horn play against inferior competition. Stay tuned for Nathan Hurst’s piece later as he’ll examine what each quarterback can show that could potentially win them the starting job.
The quarterback situation is still an unknown as Pribula and Horn have combined for only 10 touchdown passes so far in their college careers (with nine belonging to Pribula). Both quarterbacks will need to show a strong and effective passing game — especially with Mizzou coming in as 35-plus point favorites.
For this week’s reacts question, we ask you this: How many touchdown passes will Beau Pribula and Sam Horn combine for against Central Arkansas? Let us know!
