A new era of Chicago Bears football kicks off on Monday night as Ben Johnson and the Chicago Bears welcome the Minnesota Vikings.
Last season, we gave out three player props for each Chicago Bears game. We hit nearly 70% of what I would call 50-50 props last season, and hopefully, we will continue on the hot streak for 2025.
So let’s dive into it. Here are some player props to consider playing this Monday night.
D’Andre Swift OVER 53.5 Rushing Yards -114
This number surprised me. The Chicago Bears have a thin running back room right now. Both
Roschon Johnson and Kyle Monangai have missed the last few weeks with injuries, and D’Andre Swift has largely been the only healthy running back on the roster. That doesn’t mean that Johnson and Monangai won’t see the field if they are healthy enough to play, but you have to consider that the team’s RB1 will be out there and an even higher percentage of the snaps than he would be most weeks.
Combine that with the fact that the Chicago Bears have totally revamped the offensive line and Ben Johnson has made it very clear that he plans to establish the run in these football games, it feels like Swift is going to see at least 15 carries in this game, maybe close to 20. If that’s the case, you have to figure he clears north of 60 yards. If you want to look at alternate yards for Swift, you can get him at +188 above 70 yards, and that would be one to consider as well.
Olamide Zaccheaus OVER 18.5 Receiving Yards -140
You may have to look beyond FanDuel for this one, but if you can find it, this is my favorite prop of the week. Not just for Bears- Vikings, but for the entire NFL. Zaccheaus has been active in preseason and in training camp and has constantly been out with the 1s in practice. He’s regularly involved in the game plan, and while eventually Colston Loveland and Luther Burden will see their snapcounts increase and Zaccheaus may see his role diminish because of it, I think Zaccheaus has a larger role in the Bears offense the first month or so of the season than the books realize right now.
I think Zaccheaus clears this one easily. I think he probably is closer to about 40 yards receiving, and he might even have this over cleared for you by halftime.
PARLAY: Caleb Williams over 175 Yards, DJ Moore over 40 yards receiving, D’Andre Swift over 30 yards rushing -109
For our final selection, we are betting on the functionality of the Chicago Bears’ offense. We are looking at utilizing the team’s top passer, to pass catcher, and top rusher to all clear lower ALT lines and give you a near even money return.
The Bears’ offense last season was completely dysfunctional. The Bears’ offense may not light the league on fire starting in week one, but you can bet that Ben Johnson is going to make sure this unit looks like a professional unit. We are asking Caleb Williams only to go north of 175 yards passing, DJ Moore over 40 yards receiving, and D’Andre Swift over 30 yards rushing. If the offense looks like a professional unit, there’s no reason to think all three of these individuals won’t clear these thresholds.
Take the low thresholds, parlay them together, and you should get them near -110 at FanDuel and profit from it when the Bears offense looks vastly improved on Monday Night Football.
