As has become tradition, Bayern Munich is breaking out its new kit a little early. In this case, the Bavarians will be sporting their new threads against Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League.
For head coach Vincent Kompany, wearing the 2026/27 home kit is a non-factor and something that clubs often require teams to do.
“We’re used to that. We get a new kit for Oktoberfest every year. The most important thing is how we prepare for the game. Everything else does not play a role,” Kompany said
(as captured by @iMiaSanMia).
Center-back Jonathan Tah also chimed in to say that what the team is wearing will not make a difference in the outcome of a match.
“We’ve done very well with the other kit so far. The new one looks good. In the end, what matters is that we’re playing at home, and the fans will support us.”
