The other day, I posed a simple question to you. Do the Phillies need to go further with changes to the team in order to finally get to the summit of the game? The results: they are in. What did you say?
That’s a whopping 79% of people that voted in this poll saying that the team needs more changes to the roster.
The changes that are coming to the roster are going to varied. While they’re going to (mostly) run back the same roster by virtue of having some contracts that are borderline unmovable, there are other changes that can be made that wouldn’t require a whole lot other than money.
Of course, therein lies the rub: how much money does the front office greenlight to spend in order to get the team the roster they need to win a World Series? If you were watching Dave Dombrowski talk the other day on a podcast, you might get a bit of happiness.
Well alright then.
