The Dallas Cowboys have been off for a minute after losing to the Detroit Lions way back on Thursday of the previous week. They reconvene for a game against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday Night Football.
Both teams are technically still alive for the playoffs, but the Vikings are not going to get there and will be eliminated at some point in the next few weeks. The Cowboys may suffer that same fate, but they stand a better chance, especially if the Philadelphia Eagles continue their late-season collapse.
Needless to say, but we’re saying it anyway, the Cowboys have to win this game against the Vikings. A loss on Sunday night almost certainly slams the door on any playoff hopes.
