Bayern Munich youngster Arijon Ibrahimović will have options this summer after returning from his loan spell at FC Heidenheim — including a potential stay in Bavaria.
However, if Ibrahimović opts to move on instead, or if Bayern decides there is no room for him in Vincent Kompany’s attack next season, he will reportedly have his pick of clubs.
From Transfermarkt captured by @iMiaSanMia:
Arijon Ibrahimović has several suitors in Germany and abroad. In the Bundesliga, Werder Bremen and Augsburg have him on their
radar. Stuttgart and Hoffenheim have expressed their interest. From abroad, Crystal Palace, Fulham, Brighton and PSV are all interested in the 20-year old. Ibrahimović wants to play for a club with an attacking style of play, focused on ball possession and dominance, that would suit his profile as a versatile attacking player. It’s now up to Bayern to decide whether to integrate Ibrahimović in their squad for next season, or sell, or loan him out again [@uchterjung, @Transfermarkt]
The 20-year-old has developed nicely in his season with Heidenheim, logging 2169 Bundesliga minutes after managing only a total of nine league minutes between Bayern and Lazio last year. However, his loan club’s 17th-placed finish means relegation to the 2. Bundesliga next season.
Bayern is on the hunt for a new attacker on the transfer market, and there are some enticing names on that list, clubs with a penchant for fostering young talent and energetic play. It seems that it could be time for Ibrahimović to spread his wings.
