The Guardians rode a late-inning surge to fend off the Tigers in a 6-1 win to force a Game 3. Of note, outfield prospect Chase DeLauter made his big league debut as the starting center fielder in this game.

Padres pitching blanked Cubs hitters in a 3-0 San Diego win to push the series to Game 3.
The Yankees proved victorious in a 4-3 thriller over the Red Sox thanks to a clutch eighth-inning hit from Austin Wells. The two will meet for the deciding game this afternoon.
The Dodgers easily dispatched the Reds in Game 2, rolling to an 8-4 win to secure the series sweep. LA will meet the Phillies in the NLDS.
