German national team coach Julian Nagelsmann spoke warmly about the current Bayern gaffer, Vincent Kompany. Working with a sizeable pool of common players, collaboration between the two is mutually beneficial
for the club and the national team. Nagelsmann attributed a lot of value over the manner of co-operation between the two.
Post the Der Klassiker fixture between Bayern and Borussia Dortmund, Nagelsmann unveiled the dynamics between him and Kompany. “He has a very calming presence and is a very pleasant colleague. He protects the team and gives them confidence. The team seem happy and are having fun on and off the pitch. The conversations between us are always very valuable, informative, and entertaining. We talk mainly about the German players and whether they need rest between international breaks” said Nagelsmann (as captured by @iMiaSanMia).
VK is another young coach handling a footballing giant in Bayern Munich. Nagelsmann having done the same, would have a lot of things to share in terms of experience and expertise. Kompany is known for maintaining a great rapport with his players and such a relationship with the NT coach would only add further value to the players and the teams.
