Former Bellator standout Michael Page scored his final Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) victory over Nursulton Ruziboev at UFC Paris this past weekend (Sat., Sept. 5, 2026) inside Accor Arena in Paris, France.
Despite winning his fourth consecutive fight, Page’s latest low-output performance was not enough to secure another UFC contract. UFC CEO Dana White confirmed Tuesday that the promotion had no intention of re-signing “Venom,” officially making him a free agent.

UFC with an impressive 5-1 record, but without recording a single stoppage across his six Octagon appearances.
With the 39-year-old suddenly available, many fans immediately wondered whether he might reunite with longtime Bellator boss Scott Coker, who plans to launch a new MMA promotion in 2027.
However, another major player has already publicly entered the conversation.
Jake Paul, co-founder of Most Valuable Promotions (MVP), expressed interest in bringing Page to the newly merged MVP-PFL company with one perfectly obvious sales pitch.
“Think it’s time to bring MVP to MVP,” Jake Paul wrote on social media.
Honestly, most mixed martial arts (MMA) fans will probably respond with some variation of, “Go ahead and take him.”
Page’s UFC run consisted entirely of decision victories, and several of his recent performances were downright brutal to watch. However, anyone who followed “MVP” throughout his lengthy Bellator career knows that this has always been the deal: Page can produce a spectacular, viral knockout at any moment, but when that perfect opening never arrives, his fights can become painfully uneventful.
Nevertheless, Page remains a recognizable name, a proven high-level fighter and an incredibly easy athlete to market under the MVP banner.
The newly merged promotion could also offer him several fresh matchups across two weight classes. Thad Jean and Shamil Musaev would be intriguing opponents at Welterweight, while Johnny Eblen, Fabian Edwards and Bryan Battle could welcome him at Middleweight.
And if MVP MMA does not work out, Page still has other options. Karate Combat appears tailor-made for his elusive striking style, while BKFC has already shown interest in bringing him back for another bare-knuckle fight.
MVP fighting for MVP inside MVP?
The marketing department could practically take the year off.
