The rumors never stop, and neither do we.
Top rumor of the day: Jacob Fatu situation
There were rumors floating around in the days leading up to Clash in Italy that Jacob Fatu had suffered an injury at a live event and it led to some belief that he may not be cleared for his match against Roman Reigns in what was scheduled to be the main event of the PLE in Turin. Fightful Select has since said this was very much the case, and alternative plans were in fact being discussed in the event they had to pivot at the last minute.
False Finish has
since chimed in to say that one of the alternative plans was none other than Drew McIntyre, who hasn’t been on television for the better part of the past month after losing to Fatu at WrestleMania 42. He’s got history with The Bloodline and would have made sense as a plug in opponent.
Thankfully, he wasn’t needed in the end.
There’s no word at this time on who other possible replacements could have been.
