Hansi Flick was happy with Barcelona’s 4-1 win over Galatasaray in the Champions League on Tuesday night but but still feels his side have room for improvement.
The Catalans came from behind to take all three points, with Fermin Lopez, Anthony Gordon, Joao Cancelo and Karim Adeyemi all on the scoresheet.
Here’s what Flick made of it all when asked for his thoughts after the final whistle.
“We’re very happy with the result. We also played well in the first half. They had one chance and they scored. We managed
to come back and that was very important,” he told Movistar.
“I think that in the Champions League, when we played well, in some situations, we didn’t make good decisions in the final third. That’s something we need to improve.
“In this stadium, with this atmosphere, it wasn’t easy, but I’m very happy.”
Flick was also asked about Lamine Yamal’s eye-catching performance and had some words of praise for the teenager.
“Lamine didn’t score today, but he did provide the final pass for two goals. He’s an incredible player and very important for us,” he added.
The result means it’s now 10 wins from 10 games for Barcelona in 2026-27. They now head back to Spain for a La Liga clash with Real Betis.
