German national team coach Jürgen Klopp has already spoken with several Bundesliga coaches, including Bayern Munich boss Vincent Kompany:
During his first few weeks in charge, Jürgen Klopp held long conversations with Bundesliga coaches, including Vincent Kompany, Niko Kovač and Sebastian Hoeneß. Klopp wants to work with them closely and stay in regular contact. He has also spoken to the coaches of Germany’s youth teams and made it clear to them that they’re part of the process and are very important
to him. Klopp attaches a lot of importance to attending games regularly in stadiums. After last week’s Super Cup, he will also attend Friday’s Bundesliga opener at Allianz Arena.
Klopp is trying as best he can to get a read on his talent pool and taking in feedback from some of the most important managers in Germany’s top tier. Sure, you can say that is what he is supposed to do, but it is reassuring that he — so far — is able to juggle managing the here and now, while also working to establish new initiatives for the future.
Juve is still playing the field with attackers (ESPN)
Juventus is still trying to sort out its desire to bring in a new attacker:
Juventus are unimpressed with Randal Kolo Muani’s performances since his return to the club and are now looking at Atlético Madrid striker Alexander Sørloth, Gazzetta dello Sport reports. The Norway international is being favoured over Manchester United’s Joshua Zirkzee because it is felt that his characteristics would be a better fit. Nicolas González could be used as part of a deal to bring the costs down, especially as the 28-year-old wants to continue with Atleti following the expiration of his loan.
Marmoush headed to Spurs (Sky Germany’s Florian Plettenberg)
It looks like former Eintracht Frankfurt attacker Omar Marmoush is, indeed, making the move to Tottenham Hotspur:

Plettenberg checked backed in to give some detail on whether or not Eintracht Frankfurt has any financial stakes in the deal:
🚨🆕 As revealed and now confirmed: Eintracht Frankfurt have NO sell-on clause for Omar Marmoush despite reports.
The reason: Eintracht received their desired €75m guaranteed fee at the time, plus an additional €5m in bonuses. There were also very few instalments, meaning all payment obligations to Frankfurt have been fulfilled.
Reports claiming that ManCity are setting Marmoush’s price in a certain way to avoid a sell-on payment to Frankfurt are complete nonsense. #MCFC

Atubolu inks new deal (Sky Germany’s Florian Plettenberg)
SC Freiburg has inked goalkeeper Noah Atubolu to a new contract this week, which will keep him in the Black Forest a little longer:

PSG, LFC engaged in more talks for Barcola with hopes of beating deadline (ESPN)
Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain have not come to an agreement as of yet, but it does feel like the two clubs will get a deal done in the waning hours of the transfer window:
Paris Saint-Germain and Liverpool restarted discussions over the transfer of Bradley Barcola on Tuesday, as the Premier League club makes a renewed attempt to complete a deal before the close of the transfer window, sources told ESPN.
A first offer, believed to be around £90 million ($122.3m), was rejected by PSG earlier this month, with the French and European champions seeking a fee of £135 million ($184.2m) for their French international winger.
The possible departure of Cody Gakpo, linked with Tottenham and Manchester City, could unlock the deal for Barcola by providing the Reds the necessary funds to recruit the former Lyon player.
Liverpool agreed personal terms with Barcola, who has been the priority signing for the Merseyside club all summer, some time ago. However, Barcola, who has two years left on his contract, is not forcing a move out of the French capital and is not adverse to staying put.
Jackson to Villa in mega deal per report (Sky Germany’s Florian Plettenberg)
This is WAY too much. It is hard to understand what Aston Villa is thinking:

Jackson and Aston Villa will clarify final details on Thursday. The deal will be a contract until 2031.
AVFC have been the most concrete club for a long time, as revealed weeks ago. Unless there is a late hijack from Atlético or another club, the transfer is set to be totally agreed on Thursday.
