In U21s Euros qualifying, Trent Kone-Doherty made his debut at that level for the Republic of Ireland, coming on as a half-time substitute in a 1-0 win over Andorra.
Goalkeeper Armin Pecsi, meanwhile, started for Hungary U21s as they played out a 1-1 draw with Lithuania.
And at U19s level, both Trey Nyoni and Rio Ngumoha came off the bench at half-time for England in a 4-1 win over the Netherlands.
In Africa World Cup Qualifying action, Mohamed Salah played 94 minutes for Egypt in a 0-0 away draw with Burkina Faso.
In South America, Alisson Becker started as Brazil lost 1-0 away to Bolivia. For Argentina, Alexis Mac Allister played all 90 minutes in a 1-0 loss away at Ecuador. The game was a stormy affair that saw both Nicolás Otamendi and Moisés Caicedo get sent off. Both countries have already secured qualification so essentially these games did not matter all that much in the grand scheme of things.
