Bayern Munich head coach Vincent Kompany is not going to be shy about using Nicolas Jackson anywhere across the team’s frontline per a report from Tz’s Mano Bonke and Flo Schimak (as captured by @iMiaSanMia):
Vincent Kompany is planning with Nicolas Jackson in all attacking positions. He will serve as a Harry Kane backup, an alternative to Luis Díaz and Michael Olise on the wings, and also as a second striker who, with his physical traits, brings other qualities to the table compared to Serge Gnabry.
With Jackson, Kompany will have more opportunities to react depending on in-game situations, which was quite limited in the first few games of the season.
Jackson’s flexibility will be nice to have, but hopefully Kompany also remembers that youth development is one of the objectives for this season as well.
Bayern Munich is back in Bundesliga action after an international break and just before the Champions League kicks off.
