A whopping 14 players were ruled out before last week’s game against CMU even started, and then another four players also not playing after being listed as questionable. Unfortunately, the Michigan Wolverines are entering today’s game against the Nebraska Cornhuskers just as banged up as they were a week ago, and a key offensive contributor has been ruled out for this afternoon’s contest.
Here is this week’s full injury report.

Tight end Hogan Hansen is a surprise addition to the injury report this
week after playing against the Chippewas at the Big House last week. Hopefully he didn’t re-aggravate the injury that held him out for the first couple weeks of the season and he can get back on the field after the bye week.
Left guard Giovanni El-Hadi will miss a second straight game following his injury in the Oklahoma game a couple weeks ago. This shouldn’t be a big surprise, as interim head coach Biff Poggi said his injury would be a bit longer than right guard Brady Norton’s, who is listed as questionable today. Much like El-Hadi, senior cornerback Zeke Berry remains out with the injury he sustained against the Sooners two weeks ago, so fans can expect to see more of true freshman Jayden Sanders.
Meanwhile, all eyes are set on fifth-year senior safety Rod Moore, who — despite being listed as questionable — should be able to play in his first game since the National Championship on Jan. 8, 2024. It’s been a long journey for him to get back to the field following his knee injury from last spring, so hopefully we are able to see him don the winged helmet once again.
Today’s game is set for 3:30 p.m. and can be seen on CBS.
