There were quite a few changes made to the Cleveland Browns roster in 2026. The team made the decision to move on from some players who have been with this team for many seasons, and it will be jarring to see those guys wearing a different jersey. Out of all the ex-Browns players who will be on another roster this season, which has the greatest chance of success?
Wyatt Teller
It will be a little difficult to judge an offensive lineman’s impact on a team, but Teller has a chance to turn back the clock
with the Houston Texans. Can he help a run game led by David Montgomery and Woody Marks while protecting CJ Stroud? If the Texans take the next step on offense, Teller will likely get some credit.
David Njoku
After a long career in Cleveland, Njoku has made his way over to the west coast to play for the Los Angeles Chargers. If he can stay healthy, he is poised to have a productive season Los Angeles catching passes from Justin Herbert. He has dealt with inconsistent quarterback play in Cleveland. Playing with a quarterback with as talented of an arm as Herbert has, it could really help to unlock Njoku.
Jerome Ford
With the addition of Quinshon Judkins and Dylan Sampson in 2025, it was clear that the team was ready to move on from Ford this offseason. Ford will be in a great position to succeed with the Washington Commanders, as they have put a lot of work into their offensive line. Ford has a real opportunity to have a breakout season with this team.
Devin Bush
Bush is coming off a great season with the Browns and is joining a Chicago Bears defense that is a great fit for him. He will be surrounded by a playoff-caliber roster that will encourage and appreciate his aggressive style of play. It would not be shocking to see him become a leader on the Bears defense and potentially have a Pro Bowl-worthy season.
