All Sports:
The Seminoles are as hot as any team in the ACC and the Hurricanes come in tonight’s rivalry contest at 21-6 (10-4) in the ACC.
If FSU’s winning ways continue it’ll likely be because of another great game from the newly named ACC Player of the Week:
FSU 2-2 split led to a drop in On3’s ACC power rankings.
Baseball will look to get back into the winning column with the beginning of nine straight games in Tallahassee:
The 10-2 Seminoles will be home for the next six, beginning this Wednesday against FAMU:
Recruiting:
Four-star safety 2027 safety commitment Mekhi Williams was DB MVP of the Under Armour camp over the weekend:
Zach Blostein of 247Sports says that Ernie Sims is quickly making his presence known on the recruiting trail following his official promotion to full-time linebackers coach particularly with 5-star LB Kaiden Henderson from Tampa, Florida.
ng for him. I’m happy for him. I love coach Sims. He’s done everything I want to do. Five-star guy — one of the highest [ranked] recruits in the nation when he came out and he played in the league. Just knowing I could be coached by a guy like that just speaks volumes.”
Clemson and FSU are battling for bluechip 2027 WR Jamarris Simmons.
Football:
ESPN ranked the top-100 quarterbacks of the 21st century; Jameis Winston came in ranked at 17th:
Winston was around for only two seasons, but his impact was absurd: FSU rolled to its first national title in 14 years when he was a redshirt freshman — he won the Heisman by more than 1,500 points — and went on to win the first 27 games of his career.
Sounds like a better resume than 17th.
Happy belated Birthday to Charles Lester:
