Fans, get your calendars out because the Chicago White Sox and Major League Baseball have released the 2026 regular-season schedule for the team. This schedule includes a historic Opening Day matchup against a National League opponent for the first time in franchise history. While it surely looks to be another year of rebuilding, with the way the squad has been performing lately, is it too early to consider a .500 season?

The club also created this fun video to accompany the announcement of the schedule.
Opening on the road in Milwaukee
Opening Day is scheduled for Thursday, March 26, 2026, in Milwaukee, where the White Sox will start the 2026 season against the Brewers. The franchise’s only previous Opening Day in Milwaukee came on April 26, 1995, at County Stadium, when the Brewers were still in the American League prior to their move back to the NL in 1998. The 1995 season was unfortunately delayed, and Opening Day was pushed back due to the 1994 lockout.
Opening at home vs. Toronto
The South Siders will be back in town for their home opener at Rate Field on Thursday, April 2, against the Toronto Blue Jays. This is the second time the White Sox have had an Opening Day series against Toronto at home, the first being in 1979 at the old Comiskey Park.
Crosstown Series vs. Cubs
The 2026 Crosstown Series against the Chicago Cubs includes two sets: the White Sox will host the first at the Rate on Friday, May 15 through Sunday, May 17, before visiting Wrigley Field from Monday, August 17 through Wednesday, August 19.
Interleague play: NL Matchups
With 18 teams in each league, interleague play will once again feature five three-game series for the White Sox, three of them at Rate Field, and two on the road against an NL opponent, including:
Home series against:
Washington Nationals (April 24-26), Chicago Cubs (May 15-16), Atlanta Braves (June 9-11), Los Angeles Dodgers (June 12-14), New York Mets (June 21-23), Cincinnati Reds (August 11-13), Pittsburgh Pirates (September 8-10), and Colorado Rockies (September 25-27).
Road series against:
Milwaukee Brewers (March 26-29), Miami Marlins (March 30-April 1), Arizona Diamondbacks (April 21-23), San Diego Padres (May 1-3), San Francisco Giants (May 22-24), Philadelphia Phillies (June 5-7), Chicago Cubs (August 17-19), and St. Louis Cardinals (September 11-13).
Memorial Day & Fourth of July
The White Sox will host the Minnesota Twins on Memorial Day (Monday, May 25) and will be in Cleveland for an Independence Day game against the Guardians (Saturday, July 4).
Regular-season finale
The regular season wraps up with a three-game home series against the Colorado Rockies from September 25-27 at home.
