Just sixty more minutes of preseason football remain before the Green Bay Packers can move on to the business of games whose final results matter. Tonight, the Packers host their one and only home preseason game, welcoming the Arizona Cardinals into Lambeau Field for the teams’ exhibition finale.
The two squads, coached by brothers Matt and Mike LaFleur, have held joint practices this week and are therefore expected to sit most of their starters in tonight’s game. Instead of a tune-up for the regular
season, tonight’s game should be a showcase for players on either side of the roster bubble as they try to demonstrate why they deserve spots on the 53-man rosters.
That cut-down deadline comes just under 48 hours after kickoff of this game, with the NFL mandating that teams reach a 53-man roster at 5:00 PM Central Time on Sunday afternoon.
As usual, this game will be available to fans across Wisconsin on local TV and radio stations, as well as NFL+ subscribers nationwide. So tune in to find out who will make a final push for a roster spot and enjoy the game!
