Bayern are no strangers to being fined, as UEFA and the DFB have combined to fine the Bavarians for damages worth multiple hundreds of thousands of Euros in just the 2025/26 season. And that number may yet still grow. The season may officially be over now, but that does not mean the Bavarians will not yet be fined for infractions this season. Case in point, the 2025/26 season started with a fine for an infraction that took place months ago.
The latest fines concern two Bundesliga games, one played
in February and another in March, as @iMiaSanMia relays the story:
Bayern have been fined twice by the DFB (€25,000 and €40,000) because the players were late to the pitch against Union Berlin and Eintracht Frankfurt, which prevented the games from starting on time.
According to German sports show RAN, Bayern delayed the mandatory kit inspection in both matches and prevented a punctual kick off, causing a 2 minute 30 second delay before the Frankfurt match and a 1 minute 15 second delay before the Union Berlin match.
Do not expect this to be the last fine of the season, either. After the pyro shows in the DFB-Pokal final against VfB Stuttgart, there are likely more sanctions to follow. Give or take a few months.
