He was greeted roughly by the hosts, but it could have been worse. Three runs down, in a must-win game, as they all are at this point. Ozzie Albees should be illegal. Elder looked like an All-Star.
Matt Shaw got the Cubs on the board in the top
of the seventh [VIDEO] after a Nico Hoerner double put him in scoring position and a Willi Castro groundout advanced him to third, but that was all the Cubs could muster. Aaron Civale took over in the bottom of the inning and completed the contest.
Matt Olson restored that lead for the Braves with a long ball. Today is another must-win.

“Danny felt some tightness in the posterior right shoulder,” Counsell said after the game. “Docs have looked at him. That’s all we have right now. Probably let him just calm down a little bit and see how we are in a couple of days, a day or so.”
