Depending on the seriousness of Alaric Jackson’s situation, there’s a chance he’s suspended at some point during the 2026 season. With regard to Jackson, just like that, the Los Angeles Rams are having some situations occurring that could impact the team negatively. It’s only June.
The Myles Garrett trade should make the team better, much of what L.A. did this past offseason should make the team better, but that doesn’t mean that negative things still won’t happen to the roster.
Be those injuries,
situations off the field or something I can’t even think of, there are reasons that teams sometimes underperform, and a suspension of expected starters and key players can derail a team.
We’ll see what happens. It’s only June.
Thank you for checking out Turf Show Times and have a great Wednesday!
Rams’ Alaric Jackson arrested on suspicion of felony domestic violence, per report (cbssports)
“According to NBC4 in L.A., police responded to a call at Jackson’s residence just after 11 p.m. Jackson allegedly got into an altercation with a woman at his house because he thought she was using a cell phone to record him and he didn’t want that. Jackson apparently tried to take the phone away, and by the time police arrived, they noticed that the woman had scratch marks on her arms.
The charge that Jackson could potentially be facing involves a person who “willfully inflicts physical or corporal injury resulting in a ‘traumatic condition’ on an intimate partner,” according to the Los Angeles Times.
Jackson ended up spending nearly three hours in jail before being released on a $50,000 bond at 7:20 a.m. on Tuesday. “

Nate Scheelhaase seeks to make most of big opportunity as Los Angeles Rams’ offensive coordinator (kare11.com)
“Scheelhaase joined the Rams in 2024 and spent the past two seasons working on the passing game, helping out McVay and then-offensive coordinator Mike LaFleur, who became head coach of the Arizona Cardinals in February.
All four of McVay’s previous offensive coordinators are now NFL head coaches, with LaFleur, his brother Matt LaFleur in Green Bay, and Kevin O’Connell in Minnesota all going from the Rams to their current positions. Jacksonville head coach Liam Coen spent one season calling plays for Tampa Bay before he was hired by the Jaguars following his coordinator stint in Los Angeles.“

“Yes, Jared Verse will absolutely be missed in LA. He brought such a swagger and energy to the team and the town!! I wish him nothing but the best!! But when Myles Garrett takes the field and gets his first sack on the first passing play of the season against the 49er’s…That’s all we need to see!!
GO RAMS!!!“ -AntmanGee
