The just released second-season of Netflix’s “behind-the-scenes” docu-series WWE Unreal (which essentially serves as a new layer of WWE storytelling) concludes with Brock Lesnar returning at SummerSlam to attack John Cena.
That sends us to this graphic announcing season three.
We don’t have to wait long for it, and they even gave us some clips from the upcoming season that make its main subject clear…
“We had a pretty f***ing good year,” Cena says to WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque
in the clip. To which Haitch responds, “Pretty awesome.”
We also see the CCO telling his writers and producers that making sure everything went perfectly for Cena was their mission for his final match against Gunther at Dec. 13’s Saturday Night’s Main Event. We were also shown some shots from after Cena’s tapout loss to Der Ring General, when CM Punk and Cody Rhodes joined Cena in the ring, and Punk told Cena he loved him.
Unreal season three will presumably contain five, approximately 50 minute episodes like seasons one and two. Netflix will announce it’s official release date and more information about the new season in the coming months.
Excited?
