Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane has been living his best life ever since his move to the Bavarian capital. Not only has he led his club team to two Bundesliga titles, a DFB-Pokal, and a Franz Beckenbauer Supercup, but he has also captained his country to the final of Euro 2024, and the semifinals of the 2026 World Cup.
In England’s most recent game, a 2-1 win over Norway in the World Cup quarterfinals, Kane hit another milestone. According to @iMiaSanMia, of the time of writing, he is officially
England’s most capped outfield player along with Manchester United legend Wayne Rooney. Both have 120 caps for the Three Lions.
England’s all-time appearance maker is former goalkeeper Peter Shilton, who has 125 caps. However, considering Kane is well in his prime, it seems like only a matter of time before he breaks that record has well.
Having reached the semifinals, Kane is guaranteed two more matches at this World Cup – the semifinal against Argentina, and a possible final or third place match depending on the former’s result. England play Argentina on Wednesday in Atlanta.
