As we all sadly know by now, our Miami Dolphins have once again re-entered a rebuilding phase. Another sad fact is that this team has very few future building blocks on the roster, including at some of the most important positions on the roster. This will, of course, in an effort to finally find the right mix of players at the right positions, require the Phins’ new front office to find the right players in the right rounds with no swings and misses, most especially in the early rounds over the next
2-3 years or so. So what position(s), if any, should the team focus on targeting in the first round of this year’s NFL draft? Maybe you believe in simply taking the best available player at your selection, whether they trade down or not, in the first, according to the team’s “big board.” Either way you look at it, the team must go into the draft with some sort of a strategy in mind.
So this evening’s question of the day is:
What do you see as the team’s most pressing need in the first round of the draft, position-wise, at spot 11 or later, if they trade down, in the first? Do you instead believe that the team should not focus on a position of need or positions of need and instead just follow their board to a T? Either way, please let us know what you would do or like to see the new front office do with their first round pick in the 2026 NFL draft.
