There are only five seasons left in which the Kansas City Chiefs will play their standard slate of home games on the NFL’s regular-season schedule at Arrowhead Stadium, as part of the Truman Sports Complex in Kansas City, Missouri.
As things stand now, the Chiefs will be moving across the state line to play in a brand new, domed arena in Wyandotte County, Kansas.
So let’s put your “Arrowhead pride” to the test: how much are you hypothetically willing to sacrifice for the Chiefs to stay at the historic
venue? The rest of the potential quarterback Patrick Mahomes hasn’t realized in his legendary career?
Or the economic impact on Kansas City: Two days ago, the Chiefs announced that the one-time economic impact of the investment of $4.5 billion across four elements of the project — stadium, practice facility and real estate development areas — is expected to generate a total of $8.2 billion in total impact (business-to-business and wage spending) “on the greater Kansas City region during the construction period.”
