Each practice day this season, the Kansas City Chiefs release an official injury report ahead of the next game. In Week 6, the Chiefs host the Los Angeles Chargers for a divisional matchup on Sunday afternoon.

- Wide receiver Rashee Rice (Hamstring) did not participate in practice. He tweaked his hamstring during the first quarter of the Week 4 win over the Las Vegas Raiders.
Head coach Andy Reid discussed Rice’s injury at his press conference before Wednesday’s practice.
“He’s actually feeling pretty good as he goes here,” Reid said. “When you start dealing with
hamstrings, it could be a week, it could be two weeks, you don’t know, but I know he’s eager to get back in.”
- Left tackle Josh Simmons (Back) was a limited participant in practice, marking the 2025 first-round pick’s first time on the practice field since the team was in training camp. For more about Simmons, here are Reid’s comments from Wednesday.
- Cornerback L’Jarius Sneed (Knee) was a limited participant in practice. His time on the field is regularly managed due to a lingering knee issue.
The following players were full participants in practice:
- Safety Chamarri Conner (Knee)
- Fullback Ben VanSumeren (Thumb)
- Quarterback Patrick Mahomes (Knee)
