Barcelona have confirmed that Raphinha will miss the next three weeks after sustaining a hamstring injury.
Raphinha is now set to miss games against Real Sociedad, Paris Saint-Germain and Girona but is expected
to be fit and available again after the international break.
Here’s Barcelona’s official statement:
“Raphinha has suffered a hamstring injury, specifically to the middle third of the biceps femoris in his right thigh. He is expected to be sidelined for around three weeks.”
It’s been a tough week for Barcelona on the injury front, with Raphinha, Joan Garcia and Gavi all now sidelined.
However, Alejandro Balde and Lamine Yamal are fit again and expected to return shortly.
Raphinha’s absence will be a blow for Flick but he does have options in attack after bringing in Marcus Rashford and Roony Bardghji during the summer transfer window.
