NWSL week 13 starts tonight and two pivotal players for both teams will miss tonight’s match, scheduled to kick off at 8 PM at Shell Energy Stadium.
For the hosts, Jane Campbell is still dealing with a thigh injury that has sidelined her in the last match against the Washington Spirit. In said game, the second ranked NWSL team, scored four on the Dash and now they have to face the league’s reigning champions, Orlando Pride…
According to Fabrice Gautrat, the goalkeeper is close to returning from injury
but she’s not ready yet. Hopefully, the Dash will have her available for the match against Angel City or KC Current.
Right now, the Dash sits 10th in the table and are trying to make its final playoff push. They’re three points shy from Racing Louisville, the team that sits in the last playoff spot of the table.
OUT: Jane Campbell (thigh), Maggie Graham (SEI – shoulder), Sophie Schmidt (SEI – knee), Amanda West (SEI – knee)

On the other hand, Orlando’s Marta won’t be available for this game either. The Pride’s number 10 is dealing with a back injury and the last game she played was on September 20th, when they lost against the North Carolina Courage.
Despite the win in their last game against San Diego, Orlando has been struggling, accumulating three losses and one draw in their last five matches. Added to that, they lost against Club América on Tuesday in the Concacaf W Champions Cup.
Although the Pride is fifth with 32 points, they come to this game with tired legs after their trip to Mexico and not in the best of mental state. The Dash could take advantage of this, but will they?
OUT: Barbra Banda (SEI – hip), Kylie Nadaner (excused absence), Marta (back)
QUESTIONABLE: Summer Yates (ankle)
