Lamine Yamal has been quizzed on Real Madrid’s refereeing complaints
and says he’s “not interested” in the regular toxicity coming out of the Santiago Bernabeu.Los Blancos were at it again after losing to Atletico Madrid in La Liga at the weekend, and Yamal has been asked for his thoughts on the situation.
However, Barca’s World Cup winner made it clear that he doesn’t want to get involved in Real Madrid’s complaints and is focused purely on winning with Hansi Flick’s side.
“I’m not very involved to
be honest, I’m not very interested. As long as Barça continue to win there is nothing to talk about, only our game and the victories,” he told Teledeporte.
Yamal has been part of a Barcelona team that has made a perfect start to the season and he’s takentime out to praise the club’s new signings.
“So much Gordon, who came on very well, Rodri, Adeyemi… They are giving a great level. We have arrived very well physically,” he added.
“Also the more years the coach has been here, the more we understand each other and the players, then, too.”
Barcelona head into the international break six points clear of Real Madrid in the race for the title, with the two teams set to meet for the first time this season on October 25th at Camp Nou.
