The highlights of the schedule include conference games right away for the Orange. Syracuse starts ACC play on the second week of the season by hosting Cal. The Orange will be immediately tested with a short week road trip to take on Pitt at Acrisure Stadium for a Thursday game.
The bye for Syracuse also comes very early. The Orange are off after three games on the schedule, resting during the last week of the schedule. As has become customary in recent years, the Orange play a three-game road trip that is separated by the bye. Syracuse is on the road to play Pitt, UConn and Virginia.
The last interesting wrinkle for the Orange is its games at the end of Octobers and the start of March. Both home games against SMU and Clemson are currently flexed to take place either Friday or Saturday of that week. Most ACC game times are announced on Sunday the week prior to the game so expect the same timeline to determine what dates those games will happen.
What are you guys looking forward to for the 2026 season? We’ll have a roundtable coming soon with our opinions on the road ahead for the Orange.
