Bayern Loanees were back with their clubs this weekend after the mens teams were all with their international teams. Check out who scored for club and country and other updates.
FC Bayern Munich
There are nine players from
on loan from the first team.
Germany – Bundesliga
There are four players on loan to the German Bundesliga: Alexander Nübel, Arijon Ibrahimović, Daniel Peretz, and Armando Sieb.
Alexander Nübel – VfB Stuttgart
Although Nübel was called up for Germany’s two World Cup qualifiers against Luxembourg and Northern Ireland, he remained on the bench for both matches.
Back from the international break, Stuttgart returned to their winning ways against Wolfsburg. After winning the last two league matches by one goal, Stuttgart gave Nübel plenty of goal support with three goals. Nübel faced three shots on goal — including a late attempt in the fifth minute of stoppage time — and saved all three to secure the shutout on the road. Stuttgart won 3-0.
Stuttgart will travel to Turkey on Thursday to face Fenerbahce in the Europa League. They will host Mainz in league play on Sunday.
Arijon Ibrahimović – 1. FC Heidenheim
Ibrahimović started for Heidenheim at home against Werder Bremen. He was very busy in the attack throughout the game recording eight goals — three on goal from distance, one missed just wide, and four blocked — and created three chances for his teammates to score. Unfortunately none of these chances turned into goals. Ibrahimovic played the full 90 minutes and saw his team secure their first draw with a final score of 2-2.
Heidenheim will travel to face Hoffenheim on Saturday.
Daniel Peretz – Hamburger SV
Peretz started for Israel against Norway in World Cup qualifiers, but may have temporarily lost his starting position for his country too. It started out well for him when he face Halland from the penalty mark in the fifth minute. He saved it one time, but VAR ruled that it needed to be retaken, but Peretz saved it again! Unfortunately the wheels fell off after that. He only recorded one more save and let in five more goals including one that he was credited with an error that led to the goal. Israel lost 5-0.
Peretz was benched for the second qualifier, but that didn’t go too much better for Israel as they lost 3-0 in Italy. It will be interesting to see how features for his country (and club) going forward. The two losses ensure that Israel will not finish in the top two spots, but has an outside chance to qualify for the playoffs via the Nations League spots.
Peretz was on the bench for HSV as they travelled to take on RB Leipzig. HSV lost 2-1.
HSV hosts Wolfsburg on Saturday.
Armindo Sieb – 1. FSV Mainz 05
Sieb started on the bench for Mainz when they hosted Mainz on Saturday. He came into the match in the 86th minute looking for an equalizer with his team down down 3-2 late. Sieb scored in the 90th minute, but unfortunately Leverkusen scored just a minute after he came onto the field. The goal came on his only shot attempt on just five touches — very efficient, just unlucky that Leverkusen had already scored an insurance goal.
Mainz will host Zrinjski Mostar from Bosnia-Herzegovina in Conference League play. Mainz will travel to take on Nübel and Stuttgart on Sunday.
England – Premier League
There are two player on loan to the English Premier League: João Palhinha and Jonah Kusi-Asare.
João Palhinha – Tottenham
Palhinha was on the bench for Portugal’s first match of this last break — the 1-0 win against Ireland. He started on the bench against Hungary and came into the match in the 62nd minute with the match level at 2-2. He had just 18 touches in his time on the field and was unable to contribute much to the match. He did not have any shot attempts, nor could he create a chance for his teammates to shoot. The match ended 2-2. Portugal need just one point from next month’s two matches to qualify for next year’s World Cup.
Palhinha started for Tottenham and played the full 90 minutes in return to club action. He got the match going early with an assist to fellow midfielder Betancur in the sixth minute to open the scoring. In addition to the assist, he also had two shot attempts from outside the box — one on target and one that went well wide. He did not create anymore chances after the assist. Aston Villa scored a goal on either side of the half and beat Spurs 2-1.
Tottenham will travel to face AS Monaco on Wednesday. They will also travel to Liverpool to face Everton on Sunday in Premier League play.
Jonah Kusi-Asare – Fulham
Kusi-Asare was on the bench for Fulham’s 1-0 home loss against Arsenal but did not make it onto the pitch.
Fulham will travel to face Newcastle United on Saturday.
Spain – La Liga
Bryan Zaragoza is the only player on loan to Spain’s La Liga.
Bryan Zaragoza – Celta Vigo
Zaragoza was on the bench for Celta Vigo’s 1-1 home draw against Real Sociedad but did not make it onto the pitch.
Celta Vigo will host Nice in Europa League play on Thursday and then will face his team from last season — Osasuna — on the road on Sunday.
Switzerland – Super League
Lovro Zvonarek is the only player on loan from the first team to the Swiss Super League.
Lovro Zvonarek – Grasshopper
Last Tuesday, during the international break, Zvonarek played for Croatia’s U21 team in qualifications for next year’s U21 Euro. He scored the matche’s only goal on the way to beating Ukraine 1-0. That was his first international goal at the U21 level.
Back with his club, Zvonarek started and played the full 90 minutes for Grasshopper — who went down a man in the eleventh minute. He had two shots — one blocked from inside the box and one that missed high and wide from outside — and created three chances for his teammates to shoot. Grasshopper was unable to score a goal and allowed a penalty goal in the second half, which led to a 1-0 loss at home against Sion.
Grasshopper will be on the road against St. Gallen on Saturday.
Germany – 2. Bundesliga
There are two players from the first team on loan to the 2. Bundesliga: Maurice Krattenmacher and Tarek Buchman.
Maurice Krattenmacher – Hertha BSC
Krattenmacher started on the bench for Hertha as they were on the road against Bochum. He came into the match in the 70th minute with his team down 3-0. He did not have a shot nor a create a chance for his teammates to shoot, but his teammates were able to claw back two goals and almost earned a point on the road after being down so much.
Hertha will host Fortuna Düsseldorf on Saturday.
Tarek Buchman – 1. FC Nürnberg
Buchman is on the injury list with a foot injury and is expected to be out until early November.
Nürnberg drew 1-1 against Holstein Kiel at home. Their next match is Sunday at home against Kaiserslautern.
FC Bayern Munich II
There are seven players on loan from the second team.
Germany – 2. Bundesliga
There are two players on loan from the second team in the 2. Bundesliga: Noel Aseko and Paul Scholl.
Noel Aseko – Hannover 96
Aseko was with the Germany U21s last week for U21 Euro qualifiers. He started both matches and played the full 90 minutes in each. He did not have a goal or an assist in either match, but Germany lost to Greece at home 3-2 and beat Northern Ireland away 2-1.
Back in league play, Assko started on the bench for Hannover 96 as they host Schalke 04. He came into the match in the 80th minute with his team down 2-0. He did not attempt a shot, nor create a chance for his teammates to shoot. He was unable to help his team find a goal, but Schalke added another to win it 3-0.
Hannover will travel to local rivals Eintracht Braunschweig on Sunday.
Paul Scholl – Karlsruher SC
Scholl was on the bench for KSC’s 3-2 loss against Kaiserslautern.
Karlsruhe will travel face Greuther Fürth on Friday.
Germany – 3. Liga
Max Schmitt is the only player on loan in the 3. Liga.
Max Schmitt – SSV Ulm 1846
Schmitt was on the bench as the second keeper for Ulm’s 2-1 home loss against Energie Cottbus.
Ulm will travel to face SC Verl on Saturday.
Germany – Regionalliga
There are two players on loan in the Regionalliga Südwest: Benedikt Wimmer and David Emmanuel.
Benedikt Wimmer – SV Sandhausen
Wimmer started for Sandhausen last week during the international break against SG Barockstadt Fulda-Lehnerz. His team went up early, but he was subbed off in the 40th minute — presumably due to a knock. Sandhausen conceded in the second half against without Wimmer in defense. The match ended in a 1-1 road draw.
Wimmer was on the bench this weekend against Mainz II at home. He came into the match in the 78th minute. Sandhausen scored a 90th minute equalizer to steal a 2-2 home draw.
Sandhausen will host Bayern Alzenau on Sunday.
David Emmanuel – Hessen Kassel
David Emmanuel was on the bench for Kassel’s 3-1 home win against SC Freiburg II and for the 2-1 home win against SG Barockstadt Fulda-Lehnerz, but did not make it into either match.
Kassel will travel to Bayern Alzenau in the lokal Pokal on Wednesday and then travel to face TSG Balingen on Saturday in league play.
Switzerland – Super League
Johnathan Asp Jensen is the only player from the second league on loan to the Swiss Super League.
Johnathan Asp Jensen – Grasshopper
Asp started for Grasshopper at home against Sion and played the full 90 minutes. He had four shots — three blocked and one off target — and created one chance for his team to shoot. Unfortunately, they were not able to do enough down a man to score a goal. They fell 1-0 at home.
Grasshopper will be on the road against St. Gallen on Saturday.
Austria – Bundesliga
Maximilian Hennig is the only player on loan to the Austrian Bundesliga.
Maximillian Hennig – TSV Hartberg
Hennig started for Hartberg against Grazer AK on the road. He did not have a shot but created one attempt for a teammate to shoot. He was mostly focused in the defense with eight clearances and seven recoveries. He helped his team get a shutout on the road. Unfortunately Hartberg was unable to score a goal so they had to settle for a road draw.
Hartberg will travel to face Altach on Saturday.
Austria – 2. Liga
Mudaser Sadat is the only person on loan to Austria’s second league.
Mudaser Sadat – Amstetten
Sadat was on the bench for Amestetten on the road against SW Bregenz. He came into the match in the 66th minute with his team up 2-0. He helped his team see out the result and earn three points on the road.
Amstetten will host Florisdorfer AC on Sunday.
FC Bayern Munich Frauen
There are two players on loan from the women’s team.
Spain – Primera División Femenina
Edna Imade is the only player on loan to Spain’s Primera División Femenina.
Edna Imade – Real Sociedad
Imade started for Sociedad last weekend on the road against Granada. She scored a goal right before halftime to level the score at 1-1. She also scored a second goal in the 87th minute, which would have been a winner if the home team had not found an even later winning goal. On the day, she had six shot attempts — four on goal, one off target, and one blocked — created one chance for a teammate to shoot, and won a penalty — which her teammate missed. Imade was the highest rated player in the 2-2 road draw.
This weekend, Imade started again on the road against Eibar and again scored two goals. She was allowed to take a penalty early in the second half and buried it for the match’s first goal. She scored another goal 15 minutes later to make it 2-0. She again had six shot attempts — only the two goals were on target and the other four missed the target. Sociedad scored another goal and went on to win 3-0.
Sociedad will host Barcelona on November 2 after the international break.
Brazil – Brasileirão Feminino
Ana Guzmán is the only player on loan to Brazil’s Brasileirão Feminino.
Ana Guzmán – SE Palmerias
Guzmán’s club results are still hard to come by. Good news is that she has been called up the Colombia National Team for the upcoming international break.
