Jason Jackson was a big favorite heading into MVP MMA: Rousey vs. Carano, and he showed that maybe the odds weren’t wide enough.
The former Bellator welterweight champion needed just 22 seconds to score a lightning-fast knockout combination that put away Jeff Creighton on Saturday in Los Angeles.
Watch the incredible finish below.
Jackson wasted no time, meeting Creighton in the middle
and instantly engaging in an exchange of punches. Despite Creighton’s efforts, Jackson was far more accurate, connecting with a left hook that sent Creighton crashing to the mat. Jackson followed up with punches on the ground to force the stoppage.
With the win, Jackson (20-6) rebounds from a split decision loss to Thad Jean in a 2025 PFL tournament final this past June. He has now won 10 of his past 12 fights, including a knockout of current UFC welterweight contender Yaroslav Amosov.
Creighton (12-3-1) stepped in on less than a month’s notice for an injured Lorenz Larkin. The Ultimate Fighter 33 cast member suffers his first loss (excluding his TUF results) since 2021.
