Bayern not in on Olmo (Sport Bild’s Christian Falk)
Despite rumors to the contrary, Bayern Munich does not hold interest in FC Barcelona attacker Dani Olmo per Sport Bild’s Christian Falk:
❌ It is NOT TRUE: Bayern Munich are keeping an eye on Dani Olmo as a potential January window transfer. I talked with someone inside the club and they said the Spain international was not a serious option for Bayern Munich. You never know, of course, what might happen if Michael Olise doesn’t end up signing a new contract in the summer and is sold. At that point,
Olmo’s name could be considered. Max Eberl, Bayern’s head of sport, knows the player well from his time at RB Leipzig. So, I wouldn’t say that Dani Olmo will absolutely not be on a list in the summer in the event FC Bayern have to find an Olise successor. However, Bayern Munich aren’t really focusing on such a list because they want to push hard to get Michael Olise on a new contract. Other names, like Florian Wirtz or Olmo would surely be on this list, but the best player in the position in Europe is Michael Olise. That’s why they want to keep the Frenchman.
While there is a history between Bayern Munich and Olmo, the most recent set of rumors made no sense at all for the Bavarians. Sure, Olmo is a smart, versatile attacker, but the cost of his salary and a transfer fee would probably outweigh the value of what he would be able to bring to the team at this stage given Bayern Munich’s existing talent base.
Haaland said to prefer LaLiga move next (ESPN)
If something should happen that would free up Erling Haaland to leave the Premier League, the big Norwegian would likely want to move to LaLiga:
Manchester City striker Erling Haaland favors a move to Spain over Arsenal, despite the Gunners having the financial muscle to pursue him, reports TEAMtalk. After news of City’s financial charges that could result in the club’s relegation, Haaland’s camp has identified 2027 as a potential departure date from the Etihad for the Norway striker, though his contract runs to 2034. And Barcelona will be looking to put themselves in pole position for his signature alongside Real Madrid if he becomes available.
Imagine the melee between FC Barcelona and Real Madrid over Haaland.

Spurs still eyeing Kim (Caught Offside)
Tottenham Hotspur is reportedly still keeping an eye on Bayern Munich center-back Kim Min-jae:
According to Football Insider, Tottenham are keeping tabs on the experienced central defender, but Bayern Munich are not planning to sanction his departure mid-season. Vincent Kompany reportedly wants to retain Kim as Bayern compete for major honours domestically and in Europe.
It remains to be seen whether Tottenham decide to test Bayern’s resolve when the transfer window reopens in January.
Kim has been linked with a move to English football in the past, and former Tottenham manager Jose Mourinho reportedly wanted to bring him to North London in 2020. Spurs eventually decided against completing the transfer before the defender continued his career with Fenerbahçe.
The South Korean could prove to be a useful acquisition for Tottenham if they manage to secure his services in the future. He has demonstrated his quality at the highest level, and his experience could be invaluable for the Premier League outfit.

Barca eyeing Tresoldi (ESPN)
FC Barcelona could be a player for Club Brugge striker and Germany U-21 international Nicolò Tresoldi:
Barcelona retain interest in Club Brugge striker Nicolò Tresoldi after tracking him during the summer, according to Sport. The Catalan giants ultimately opted to sign Gabriel Jesus from Arsenal, but could revisit a move for the 22-year-old Germany under-21 international in a future transfer window.
Tresoldi could be very close to getting a first team call-up to Germany…if he commits to the DFB. Italy is very much in play at this point, too.
Koundé’s list of suitors grows (ESPN)
Bayern Munich has recently been linked to FC Barcelona right-back Jules Koundé, but if the Bavarians really want the 27-year-old, they will have to outbid Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester United and Manchester City:
Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester United and Manchester City have been alerted to the potential availability of Barcelona defender Jules Koundé, TEAMtalk reports. Chelsea are actively monitoring the France international, with Xabi Alonso keen on reinforcing his options at right back and the Spanish club looking to raise money to fund their new signings.
