The Chicago Bears will take on the Atlanta Falcons this Sunday, and the teams have issued their first official injury reports for week six.
The Bears did not hold a typical practice on Wednesday, so the initial report is based on a walk-thru. The biggest news, as first revealed by head coach Ben Johnson during his media availability on Wednesday, is that QB Caleb Williams was listed as a full participant. He appears to be on track to make his return this Sunday, although the team has not yet officially
announced his return.
DB Kyler Gordon (calf) was once again a full participant, so it will be interesting to see if the team fully activates him from the PUP list this week so that he can make his return to action. His 21-day practice return window was activated on September 23, which means Gordon will need to be activated from PUP by October 15 in order to be eligible to return this season.
Listed as limited in practice was DB Tyrique Stevenson (hip).
Listed as DNP (did not practice) were: LB T.J. Edwards (hamstring), LB Keyshaun Elliott (quadricep), RB Kyle Monangai (thumb/toe), and DL Dayo Odeyingbo (quadricep).
Odeyingbo is considered “likely to miss some time,” per Ben Johnson. Stevenson is considered day-to-day with his hip injury.
The Falcons injury report is listed below.
The Bears take on the Falcons this Sunday at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, GA. The game takes place at 12:00 p.m. (Chicago time) and will be broadcast on FOX.
