The Missouri Tigers continue to fill out their last additions of the transfer portal. Eli Drinkwitz and the staff aren’t done at the wide receiver position just yet — adding another player from a power conference school.
Minnesota wide receiver Kenrick Lanier II has committed to Missouri — per Matt Zenitz of CBS Sports.
In his sophomore
season, Lanier saw minimal playing time with the Gophers with three receptions for 79 yards.
A native of Decatur, Georgia — Lanier was a former Class of 2023 four-star recruit per 247Sports. Along with Minnesota, Vanderbilt and Georgia Tech were Lanier’s power conference offers out of high school.
Lanier became the 21st overall addition for Mizzou Football in the transfer portal. He joins Cincinnati’s Caleb Goodie, Auburn’s Horatio Fields, and Florida’s Naeshaun Montgomery as the wide receiver commitments.
