The Cleveland Browns may be rebuilding after the trade of DE Myles Garrett to the Los Angeles Rams, but fans are hopeful that a full teardown is not on the horizon. In reality, the Browns roster is already full of players on rookie deals with a lot of upside before any return from the Garrett trade is added to it.
The foundation of the Cleveland roster is now the 2025 and 2026 NFL draft classes, with a lot of picks available in the highly touted 2027 NFL draft. The focus seems to be on acquiring a franchise-level
quarterback in next year’s selection process. QB Brendan Sorsby could also be an option in the Supplemental Draft.
Assuming Sorsby isn’t added, that leads us to a very quick and early 2027 NFL mock draft using Pro Football Network’s simulator. Will not pretend to know a ton about each of these players at this point in time. Instead, looking at positions and rankings, primarily.

First Round
QB Arch Manning, Texas
The connection everyone sees between the Haslams and the Mannings comes together with Cleveland fans hoping they’ve finally found THE guy.
DT Mateen Ibirogba, Texas Tech
With DT Maliek Collins set to hit free agency, adding another defensive tackle who can get after the passer makes a lot of sense.
Second Round
TE Trey’Dez Green, LSU
At 6’7”, Green would add another interesting dynamic to the Browns passing game. Hauled in seven TDs last year.
Third Round
DE Clev Lubin, Louisville
After swapping Garrett for Jared Verse, it will be helpful for Cleveland to continue to add to the defensive end room. Lubin’s first name earmarks him for the Browns.

Fourth Round
CB Jermaine Matthews Jr., Ohio State
S Earl Little Jr., Ohio State
OT Drew Azzopardi, Washington
A couple of Buckeyes and more help on the offensive line.
Fifth Round
RB Antwan Raymond, Rutgers
OG Malachi Breland, Arkansas
Beefing up the run game and interior of the offensive line will be a good way to help Manning grow.
Seventh Round
QB John Mateer, Oklahoma
WR Amare Thomas, Houston
Mateer could complete an overhaul of the quarterback room with Manning and Taylen Green in 2027.
The Browns will also have an extra second-round pick in the 2028 draft and an extra third from the 2029 draft coming from the Rams trade for Garrett.
