We made it to another weekend, this one with an event! Hell yeah. Let’s kick it off with rumors.
Lead Rumor: TKO on WWE title changes
Remember that talk of how not everyone was on board with Sami Zayn winning the WWE championship from CM Punk? That came from Dave Meltzer, and he has since doubled down on that maintaining that feelings regarding the switch were mixed.
One thing he did want to clear up, however, is the fact that TKO isn’t worried about it either way.
That’s because, as he put it in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, TKO
“do not care about small things like who is the champion right now and they are into the bigger deals.” Apparently, no one has said a word about Zayn being champion right now because, again, that’s not really the part of the business they concern themselves with.
That’s for Triple H and co. to worry about.
So I suppose we don’t need to worry about blaming TKO for any future title changes in WWE.

Other rumors floating around
- Becky Lynch is now listed on Raw’s internal roster as a babyface, per a PWInsider Elite report.
- There were rumors just days ago that Kairi Sane had yet to sign with AEW, and that remains the case. However, Fightful Select has now noted that we shouldn’t expect to see her at All Out, as she is not planned for the show. Conversations remain ongoing, however, and if she does sign it will be under a dual contract.
- While Dave Meltzer initially said Maya World could be out for months, Bryan Alvarez later noted he knows the procedure she had done but isn’t saying out of respect for her privacy. Having said that, the procedure in question wouldn’t keep her out for months, so she could be back much sooner than originally believed.
- Another one from Alvarez: there’s talk within the wrestling industry on the future of EVOLVE after WWE moved Main Event to the same time slot every Wednesday night. In short, there may not be a future for it soon enough.
