We are getting into the home stretch here! The Washington Nationals play their final series of the season against the White Sox. Both of these squads are bad teams with some exciting young talent sprinkled in. Regardless, this will be the last time you get to see the Nats in regular season action until March.
The Nats are rolling out a pretty standard lineup. James Wood is in the leadoff spot and CJ Abrams is in the 2 hole. The most notable change is Paul DeJong is playing third base over Brady House.
Robert Hassell will also be in center field over Jacob Young. Cade Cavalli will make the last start in what has been a successful big league run for him.
The two best players on the White Sox offense are rookies. Kyle Teel and Colson Montgomery have been two bright spots for the Sox. Teel normally catches, but will DH today with fellow rookie Edgar Quero behind the plate. Lenyn Sosa is someone I had not heard of but he has 21 homers. Yoendrys Gomez is on the mound for the south siders.
