The Philadelphia Eagles are on the road this weekend to take on the Tennessee Titans in Nashville. But it could certainly feel like a home game for the Birds due to all the Philly fans who made the trip down to Broadway!
With the heat index projected to be over 105 degrees, it sure is going to be a hot one. It remains to be seen what kind of impact this weather will have on the game.
That’s not the only uncertainty in this matchup. The Eagles are also going with a new starting offensive line configuration
due to Landon Dickerson’s injury. Cam Jurgens is slated to make his first-ever start at left guard with Drew Kendall stepping in at center.
Even with these moving parts, the Eagles should be expected to look better on offense than they did in Week 1. The Titans don’t have the talent — on paper, at least — to stifle Philadelphia’s personnel. Vic Fangio’s defense, meanwhile, should be expected to cause problems for Cam Ward and a Titans offense that looked pretty listless last Sunday.
