The Los Angeles Chargers
are getting ready for their Week 9 matchup against the Houston Texans at SoFi Stadium. While most of the players are getting ready, a few members of the team will be on the inactive list.
S Kendall Williamson, DB Deane Leonard, G Kayode Awosika, WR Theo Wease and WR Brenen Thompson are all out for the Chargers against the Texans.
Abobuka is dealing with a fibula injury, while Thompson is dealing with a quad and hamstring injury. Leonard is still in concussion protocol, and Kendall
Williamson was already ruled out with a calf injury. The team also saw tight end David Njoku and linebacker Denzel Perryman at practice this week, but neither of them was activated off of injured reserve.
Meanwhile, the inactives for the Texans are RB David Montgomery (groin), DB Reed Blankenship (hand surgery, concussion protocol), TE Cade Stover (healthy scratch), OL Febechi Nwaiwu, OL Braden Smith and OL Nate Thomas.
The Texans will turn to Woody Marks as their top running back with Montgomery on the sidelines, but for the most part, the team is pretty healthy after coming off their annual bye last week.
